In Telangana, Tribal Ashrama Schools provide a nurturing environment for students of indigenous communities. Here, they study and live. In 2018, the Tribal Welfare Department established an advanced learning facility in 50 Tribal Ashrama Schools to help students enhance subject learning.
Through the e-Learning Classrooms program, supplemental education is being provided in schools. The goal is to empower every student to be a connected, creative, and engaged learner. Students get to learn Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and English from some of the talented teachers of the State from a broadcasting studio (e-School Studio) established at Hyderabad.
All the sessions are LIVE and interactive. That means - students get to watch and listen to the teacher (as well as e-content) and also they can ask questions with the expert.
Micro-Assessment is embedded in each session. Students are given assessment tools that help in collecting learning data at the classroom level. These have created a participatory environment in these classrooms. With enough data, remedial teaching plans will be developed for district-level operations.

E-Learning classrooms are set up in 50 Tribal Ashram Schools, where more than 12,000 students are being benefited of the technology-aided learning. With the use of animations based on their real-life examples, it is our aim to make students realize that foundational learning principles are everywhere and around them.

Tab labs in Tribal Ashrams Schools provide engaging and interactive content for children from standard 3 to standard 10. The apps provide question-answers, images, animations in the bytes of 30 seconds duration, which helps the young minds to explore curious topics consistently and in a joyful manner.
These tiny modules make the students think about concepts and after submitting the response, the answers lead them to have their personal Aha! moments.

The contents and LIVE interaction with teachers on elearning platform is helping students to clear their doubts effectively. Students are happy to be part of the LIVE Classes.
Students are enthusiastic to learn subjects because of the animated econtent and tab lab facility. Subject teachers help students clarify their doubts. We are thankful to all the people involved in setting up this infrastructure for our school.
There are limitations whenever we take classes using blackboard. E-learning platform helps us to overcome such limitations through econtent based lessons.
In these LIVE classes, we are able to interact with teachers of all subjects, and get our doubts clarified then and there. It is helping us a lot.
